Fiona Dwyer is celebrating becoming an affiliate and partner for the Female Entrepreneur Association International.
A PR specialist, journalist and former senior reporter for ITV Yorkshire’s Calendar News – she has, in the last few months, launched her first online course to teach business owners how to do their own PR.
Fiona Dwyer, who is also a committee member for Women in Business Hull, said:
“I’m so excited to be an affiliate and partner for the FEA. It’s such a wonderful organization which really supports female entrepreneurs in turning their ideas into new streams of income and building successful businesses. What really appeals to me is the core belief of helping others and to be of service. When you’re just starting out and often working on your own from home, it can be a lonely place to be, so to have a whole network of entrepreneurs from all over the world at your fingertips, to bounce ideas off them and to be your cheerleaders is incredibly inspiring and motivating.”
Founded by Carrie Green, who is the author of the best-selling book She Means Business and who also hosts a podcast of the same name, the FEA serves a network of over 650,000 women in 67 countries and 500 industries.
As a Female Entrepreneur Association affiliate and partner, Fiona will also be promoting the FEA’s Create and Sell Programme which helps women from all over the world take advantage of the resources, network and value that the FEA has to offer, something she has first-hand knowledge of. Fiona continued:
“I enrolled on Carrie’s Create and Sell course last year to learn how to launch my course into the digital world! I had written DIY Your Biz PR two years previously but it was just sitting there, waiting for me to do something with it. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and it’s really opened up a whole new world for me. Suffice it to say, I am now really proud to be able to add ‘course creator’ to my name too – and I really welcome the opportunity to spread the word to other women who have all sorts of brilliant ideas but aren’t sure how to bring them to life. They might be stay-at-home mums who crave the ability to work alongside their children or maybe current entrepreneurs who want to know how to monetize digital assets in their brands.”
Last week, 9000 women joined an Ideas to Income Challenge hosted by Carrie Green – and this week she has opened up the Create and Sell programme for enrolment. Closing date for enrolment is Thursday 3rd February 2022. The programme starts on Monday 7th February.
